Convivencia

The exclusion of Dagoberto Valdes and his co-workers from Vitral had motivated them to continue their social activity in order to promote democratic values, civic attitudes and human rights in Cuba.

On February 15, 2008 the project Convivencia (Co-existence) was launched. Their mission is education of human rights, democracy and civic participation.

To reach wide range of people in Cuba and also abroad they activated the website Convivencia that soon became media space for social activists from Cuba.  At the same time Convivencia group organizes meetings, debates, workshops for the representatives of new civil society in Cuba.
